• 5 - #32 Stainless Steel Hose Clamps; seals Rubber Couplings to panel headers

Row Kit Function: 

• Caps off the unused header opening at the end of a panel row

• Provides a mechanical release of vacuum buildup during the solar panel draining process

• Connects the feed & return PVC plumbing lines to panel array.

 

Each Row Kit Includes:
• 1 - End Plug; used for plugging un-used panel header outlet

• 1 - 1.5" Vacuum Breaker; used to auto-release vacuum 
• 2 - 1.5" CPVC Panel Adapters*; used for connecting to panel outlet
• 2 - 1.5"x2" PVC Reducer Bushings; used with Panel Adapter to increase to 2"
• 2 - 2" PVC Couplings; used to connect to 2" PVC feed & return lines

• 1 - Standard Panel Hardware Kit; to complete panel array row

*CPVC withstands high temperature and requires All purpose CPVC glue. Using PVC glue may result in leakage

 

 

Plumbing Kit Function: 
• 3-Way Valve*; Manual controls the daily operation of the solar pool heater
• Check Valves; Stops backflow through the pool filter & solar PVC return line
• PVC Fittings; Ties solar PVC feed & return lines into existing pool equipment PVC lines**
• Mounting Parts & Accessories; eliminates guesswork & time consuming planning

 

*The 3-way control valve is easily used to turn the solar heater on or off, plus regulate the flow of water and adjust the temperature. Manual adjustments only need to be made occasionally as the seasons change. 

 

**An average installation requires only the purchase of PVC piping, which is cost prohibitive to ship, and can be purchased at any local hardware supply.
